The Lantern Post Antiques & Lamp Repair

An unique historical building and garden full of treaures!

 Hello !

We are a group of individuals who in combination, has approx '100' years of experience, history, and knowledge of Antiques and Lighitng. But more realistically ...... Leslie has over 20 years, Sharyn has 30+, and Betty has 25 !

We are one  'big family' that maintains, loves, and supports the Lantern Post which has approx 2000 square feet of antiques, lighting, unique gifts and our Habitante Organic Soap Biz (Habitante Soaps) and a HUGE Lamp Repair Shop.

Beautifully displayed within 2 levels ~ 9 enchanted rooms feature the original historical hardwood floors, wood beams, original windows and historical charm. We also decorate and display the back porch and all into the Herb Garden (May - Oct) with one-of-kind yard art, primitives and unusual artifacts.

Oh my goodness! We cannot forget the gardens!

The garden is full of herbs, wildflowers and Ohio plants used in our organic soaps, some are dried and sold in bouquets or in our handmade pine-cone seasonal wreaths handmade by Leslie. Our garden features some of the oldest lilac trees in the community, that are simply spectacular while in bloom.

We are situated in the heart of The Village of Lithopolis,  across from J&R'sPizza, beside the Lithopolis Memorial Park, and backing up to the Lithopolis United Methodist Church.

We are a Very Large white 2-story with green shutters and framed with a very old, ratty, white picket fence that we hope to replace one day!
